Real's Elite Agent Award
Real's new Elite policy recognizes qualifying full-cap agents and team leaders in both the United States and Canada. Eligible agents receive a production award in restricted stock units and a lower post-cap transaction fee.

This page reflects Real's September 1, 2026 Elite Agent policy. The new production award and Elite post-cap fee apply to agents who reach Elite status on or after that date.

Production award shares vest over three years and require the agent to remain in good standing throughout the vesting period.
Who can qualify
Elite status is for individual agents and team leaders on a full annual cap. For the Elite production award, every qualification requirement must be met within one anniversary year.
Two qualification routes
Route one: cap and post-cap fees
- Reach your full annual cap.
- Generate $6,000 USD in post-cap transaction fees in the United States, or $9,000 CAD in Canada.
Route two: production volume
- Reach at least $500,000 in GCI.
- Complete at least 10 transactions with a value of $1 million or more.
- Receive at least 50% of gross commission on each qualifying $1 million transaction.
- Understand that client rebates reduce Elite GCI and personal transactions do not count.
Team-member treatment
Team members on a reduced cap may receive the reduced Elite post-cap fee when their team leader has achieved Elite status. Team members on a full cap continue to pay the standard post-cap fee unless they qualify for Elite status themselves.
Elite Agent Cultural Award
Agents who have achieved Elite status may also be eligible for an additional $8,000 stock award for approved cultural contributions to the wider Real agent population, including teaching through Real Academy or meeting other program criteria. The Cultural Award is separate from the Production Award, requires Elite status first, and also vests over three years.
Important context
RSUs are not cash compensation. Their realized value depends on the stock price when shares vest. Real sets the award program, eligibility criteria, and grant terms, and may change them. Review the current program details directly with Real before relying on an award or fee outcome for your business planning.
